No-Bake Energy Bites

I found the easiest and yummiest recipe ever! It only takes four ingredients and about ten minutes to make. I’m all about snacks that are easy to grab and take on-the-go, especially when I’m rushing to get to work. 

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (or other nut butter)
1 cup dry oatmeal
1/3 cup honey
1/2 cup chocolate chips


The recipe calls for peanut butter, but I opted for a healthier version. I used organic no salt added almond butter. I think next time I’ll do half almond butter and peanut butter to change up the flavor. I love that you can really experiment with this recipe. 


If you decide to use a different nut butter like I did, make sure you stir it well!



Pour all of your ingredients into a big bowl and mix it really well then cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it chill in the fridge for an hour. 


After an hour, roll the mixture into balls and place them on a wax paper lined cookie sheet.  Place the cookie sheet into the freezer for three hours. 


You can leave your energy bites in the fridge for one week or the freezer for one month. I put mine in a ziplock and left them in a freezer. They are the perfect treat when they’re frozen!
